01Find the right departure port

Bangameori on Daebudo and Incheon Coastal Passenger Terminal are different departure points. Bangameori is in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, even when your destination is an Incheon island. Check whether your booking says Daebudo or Incheon before planning the journey.

Search for 방아머리항 여객선터미널 and compare the address with the operator’s directions. The beach, tourism office and nearby public car parks are not interchangeable with the ferry ticket office. Check the final walk if you arrive by bus.

02Prepare your ticket details

Keep the travel date, destination, departure time, passenger count and vessel name together. Daeijakdo and Soijakdo are different islands despite their similar names. Check both directions of a return booking rather than assuming you will return to the same mainland port.

Follow the operator’s ticket collection and identity-check instructions after arrival. If you intend to buy at the terminal, confirm availability and the ticket deadline first. A sailing missing from an online search does not establish that walk-up tickets are available.

03Choose parking or vehicle transport

If the car stays on the mainland, check the exact parking location, charges and overnight conditions. Beach parking information is not evidence that ferry passengers have free long-term parking. This guide does not promise a particular parking tariff or space.

If the car travels, check vehicle dimensions, category, the selected sailing’s loading arrangements and all passenger tickets. Daebu Shipping lists the driver’s passenger fare separately from the vehicle fare. Calculate the complete return cost rather than comparing only the car charge.

04Use your waiting time well

Locate your boarding point before visiting other facilities. Ask where toilets are and prepare essential supplies without relying on shops being open at the time you arrive. Allow for the walk to the vessel and for children, older passengers or bulky luggage.

For vehicle boarding, ask where accompanying passengers should wait and whether they board separately. Reaching the pier does not mean check-in and loading are complete; follow staff directions.

05Plan the mainland journey home

Save the return bus stop and check the last usable connection before leaving for the island. Road transport and ferries are separate journeys, so a delay can change the rest of your plan. Recheck the operator’s notices before travelling and again on departure day.
