011. Select both directions
In the official service, choose your departure port, destination and dates. Daeijak and Soijak are different destinations; Incheon and Daebu are different mainland ports. If you need a return trip, check availability in both directions before paying. Plan all times in Korea Standard Time.
Confirm vehicle or pet arrangements for the actual vessel first. Completing a passenger reservation does not establish that a car can be carried. Vehicle registration or loading may follow a separate procedure.
022. Check the passenger information
Enter the details requested for every actual passenger. Use only a discount for which you can provide the required evidence. Before payment, compare the number of passengers, each sailing date and time, the final total and the cancellation conditions.
| Korean label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 출발지 / 도착지 | Departure / destination |
| 출항 / 입항 | Check the direction defined in that timetable |
| 선박명 | Vessel name; important for car and pet rules |
| 예매조회 및 취소 | Booking lookup and cancellation |
033. Verify the booking after payment
Do not close the process as soon as a payment app confirms authentication. The linked official booking page warns that you may need to return to the original payment screen and finish confirmation. A bank notification alone is not proof of a usable ticket. Open booking lookup and check the passengers and sectors.
Save your booking reference and the operator’s contact details. Correct spelling errors before departure. If a payment appears to fail, check existing reservations and charges before paying again. Recheck documents before travel and operating status on the day.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book without creating an account?
Korea Express Ferry’s FAQ describes booking without separate membership. Authentication can still vary by booking route; follow the official screen you use.
Why are the two directions priced differently?
Terminal charges, discounts, vessel or sector conditions may differ. Compare the final amount for each direction instead of simply doubling one fare.
