01Prepare names, contact details and payment
Have each passenger’s document name, date of birth, a reachable contact and a payment method ready. If your passport name includes a middle name or exceeds a field limit, ask how to enter it rather than inventing an abbreviation. Check that every passenger has their own details.
Do not assume a Korean number is always required, or that every foreign card works. An English page or a guest-booking option does not prove either point. Note the exact step and error message, then ask the operator or booking support about that case.
02Ask the question that matches the problem
Include the travel date, departure port, island and number of passengers. Do not send passport scans or a full card number in an ordinary enquiry.

03Keep a Korean reference for the trip
Save the confirmed names, dates, vessel, ports and booking reference. Keep the Korean terminal and island names for maps and staff: 인천항 연안여객터미널 is Incheon Coastal Passenger Terminal; 대부도 방아머리항 is Bangameori Port. Check operating status yourself if you cannot reliably receive notices.
